Per un’ermeneutica della vita politica. Heidegger e le pratiche retoriche

Abstract

The text discusses Heidegger’s 1924 lectures about the Grundbegriffe der aristotelischen Philosophie and tries to identify, starting from these lectures, some structural aspects of political life. Heidegger presents here his interpretation of Aristotle’s Rhetoric and says that it is the first hermeneutic of human social life, including the roles of passion and desire. Starting from Aristotle’s Politics, he confronts social life of no-human beings with human’s sociality. For humans beings, political life is made by continuous negotiations and modifications of opinion and passion, so that language is both danger and resource for them. Because of language, human being can cross these experiences or loose them. In this lectures Heidegger presents a rhetorical theory of the Self and argues the central role of passion in self-consciousness.
